How did the bitches get so bolshie?

Women hate men. It is an inescapable fact of our time. The news tells us. Adverts tell us. Books, films, shops, toilets, shop toilets, they all tell us. Women hate men.
Men are stupid, sport obsessed slackers, who get paid more than they deserve and generally swan about having their own cake and eating it.
At the same time men hate women. They are all bitter and resentful that their dominate position has been challenged and that they can only now buy moisturiser with turbo riboflavins. Women now have to be kept in their place by whatever means possible (happy hour promotions, pregnancy, weight paranoia) or men will end up as their slaves.
The two sexes have nothing in common. They don’t like the same films, food, drinks or fags. They read different books, don’t speak to each other and inhabit different worlds.
Perhaps then both sides should read The Noughtie Girl’s Guide to Feminism by Ellie Levenson just in case there is some common ground and we are not all gender stereotypes. Otherwise it looks like war.
Which of course we’ll win, because they can’t read maps.
